Connecticut Children’s Medical Center selects Fujifilm Synapse VNA

The TeraMedica Division of U.S.A., announced today that Connecticut Children’s Medical Center will install Synapse VNA version 6.0, the next generation of its enterprise-wide medical information and image management solution, across its facility.

“Fujifilm TeraMedica is recognized for its best-in-class software and services,” said Jung Park, Senior Director of Information Services Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. “We plan to leverage the Synapse VNA solution across our complete enterprise that will maximize operational efficiencies and reduce costs.”

Synapse VNA enables management, distribution, and visualization of DICOM and non-DICOM images and standards based documents from any departmental system. Major new features include a completely re-designed demographics quality assurance, user interface and support for VNA role-based dashboards.
