Versus Technology awarded RTLS/RFID agreement with Premier

Versus Technology, has been awarded a group purchasing agreement for RFID Asset Tracking and Management with Premier. Effective February 1, 2016, the new agreement allows Premier members, at their discretion, to take advantage of special pricing and terms pre-negotiated by Premier for the entire suite of Versus real-time locating solutions (RTLS), which includes patient flow applications as well as asset tracking and asset management.

Premier is a leading healthcare improvement company uniting an alliance of approximately 3,600 hospitals and 120,000 other providers to transform healthcare.

“As health systems search for solutions to optimize operations in the face of declining revenue and higher costs, they are turning to RTLS,” comments David Wardlaw, Vice President of Sales for Versus. “Our own experience and recent market research shows that organizations are moving from a departmental RTLS approach to enterprise-wide adoption. We’re incredibly pleased that Premier members see the value in the breadth and depth of our solutions in this regard, and we’re looking forward to engaging their membership to enhance patient throughput, experience and engagement.”

The Versus RTLS and its suite of software solutions serve as the foundation of enterprise-wide operational intelligence for both acute care hospitals and ambulatory care providers. With a multi-platform, scalable approach to technology, hospitals can easily begin their initiatives with asset tracking, then scale up into more advanced workflow solutions for the ED, OR and hospital-wide capacity management. These Versus solutions are proven to effectively manage fleets of assets, reduce patient wait times, increase capacity and access, and enhance the overall patient experience.
