Stratus Video, a leading provider of interpretation solutions with a focus in the healthcare industry, announced today that it has acquired Optimal Phone Interpreters, a leader in over-the-phone interpreting (OPI) solutions, doubling Stratus Video’s interpreter base. The acquisition allows Stratus to provide greater support for both video and audio interpretation while maintaining and improving upon a standard of excellence.
During Stratus’s and Optimal’s three-year partnership prior to the acquisition, Stratus Video offered an OPI connection to clients to provide both video and audio interpretation. Today, this acquisition allows one-stop service for clients under one brand.
Stratus Video provides customers with a solution for individual organizations’ language-service needs. Now offering over 200 spoken and signed languages, the cloud-based audio and video remote interpretation platform connects with a certified interpreter on demand in less than 30 seconds.
