CHADIS promoted to strategic partner by Allscripts

CHADIS, from Total Child Health, was named  of the month by Allscripts in October for the second year in a row. Allscripts also promoted Total Child Health as a strategic partner based on the growth CHADIS has experienced with Allscripts clients and its traction as an Allscripts Developer Program (ADP) partner. The expanded integration will enable Allscripts EHR users to access the more than 200 screening tools delivered by CHADIS including the major validated development and autism screening tools (e.g. ASQ-3, M-CHAT-R), Early Childhood Screening Assessment and others that collect information on nutrition, sleep, feeding, toileting, exercise, safety, and EPSDT health risks.

With integration into Allscripts TouchWorks Electronic Health Record and Practice Management solution, pre-visit questionnaires and surveys are automatically assigned to the parent, based on the age of the patient and the type of appointment. The parent or adolescent can complete the questionnaires in the comfort of their home or on a tablet in the office. The results are scored automatically and then placed in the results section under orders.

“Using CHADIS as an integrated solution with Allscripts has provided us the capability to more consistently and effectively reach our patients with questionnaires prior to arriving for their well child visits,” said Christopher Duskin, Senior Application Specialist, Hutchinson Clinic.   “Additionally, the direct insertion of completed questionnaires to the electronic medical record allows our clinical staff to focus on the scores and responses, instead of worrying about how to access the information.”
