Cerner to host ICD-10 Twitter chat

The Oct. 1 transition to ICD-10 coding is fast approaching and, in preparation for this change, it’s important to offer our clients multiple avenues of support.

Cerner will host a Twitter Chat from 11 a.m. to noon CT, Wed., May 27, about ICD-10 preparation, though the @CernerPhysicianaccount.

The hour-long discussion will bring together ICD-10 preparedness thought leaders. Cerner’s Director of Regulatory Compliance, Mike Hourigan, will participate in the chat as well as invited special guests, including Cerner clients.

We invite participants to engage in the Twitter conversation using the hashtag #CernerChat. You can also follow along here:http://bit.ly/CernChat

Welcoming Special Guests:

Truman Medical Centers will join our conversation on ICD-10. We welcome Seth Katz, MPH, RHIA as he provides insight into Truman’s ICD-10 preparation plan.

“After more than six years of planning and preparation we are entering the final phase of this conversion to ICD-10. As we begin integration and full end-to-end testing to ensure our success in this monumental change, we are also working to make sure our payers, systems and providers are ready as well.” – Seth Katz
