To effectively position themselves for the future of healthcare, while maintaining focus on current operations, many hospitals and physicians are taking the first steps toward transitioning to clinical integrated networks (CINs). Beyond issues relating to increasing the quality of healthcare, and reducing cost and waste, accountability is a major challenge.
