Carestream Health will unveil two new diagnostic imaging technologies that help improve the patient experience and accelerate operational productivity at the upcoming Association for Medical Imaging Management (AHRA) 2023 annual meeting in Indianapolis, IN.
“Healthcare professionals want to offer superior patient care and improve diagnostic confidence, while also speeding workflows and responsibly managing budgets,” said Jorge Quant, Vice President, Americas Strategy & Marketing at Carestream. “Carestream provides a range of innovative, flexible solutions to effectively meet those objectives.”
At the AHRA meeting (Booth #711), Carestream will showcase:
- The new, productivity-boosting DRX-Rise Mobile X-ray System , giving customers an affordable path to digital imaging—or replacement or expansion of their existing DR fleet—without significant capital investment. This advanced DR mobile imaging system, with its nearly silent drive, provides the most important features of a high-end mobile digital radiography system at a price that not only makes sense, but is also justified by noticeable improvements in imaging performance, ease of use and productivity.
- The new, versatile DRX-LC Detector that offers single-exposure, no-stitching-required long-length imaging. It improves patient comfort by reducing the hold time and likelihood of retakes; boosts diagnostic confidence and treatment planning by delivering improved image quality and precision; and increases productivity, making the image capture experience easier on radiographers.
- The quiet, powerful DRX-Revolution Mobile X-ray System that paves the way for improved workflow, patient care and clinical outcomes with feedback-informed advanced features including a smaller, lighter tube head and collimator; redesigned, more responsive display screens; functional LED lighting; and optional in-bin charging.
- Carestream’s groundbreaking portfolio of DR Detectors that includes glass-free, wireless, shareable and fixed models and allows for fast, easy and affordable upgrades from film or CR to full-digital radiography. These solutions provide high-quality X-ray images in seconds, for rapid, confident diagnoses and earlier commencement of treatment.
“Carestream’s new and flagship offerings demonstrate the company’s ongoing commitment to developing pioneering imaging products to suit every facility and workflow. We will continue to deliver industry-leading medical imaging solutions built on a foundation of scientific research, and informed by listening to our customers’ challenges, objectives and feedback,” Mr. Quant said.
