Medicity recognized in “Best in KLAS” 2015/2016 report as most improved vendor

Medicity, a leading provider of population health management solutions, was named most improved in the recently issued “2015/2016 Best in KLAS: Software & Services” report. Medicity saw a 20 percent score increase from 2014 to 2015.

Medicity made substantial investments into improving strategic alignment, engagement and communication. The company accomplished this via a four-pronged approach:

1. Revamping its client engagement model including executive strategic alignment meetings, launching an online customer collaboration platform, and monthly product updates,

2. Increasing scalability and network performance,

3. Accelerating product innovation, including two new products, Medicity ManageTM and Medicity ExploreTM, and

4. Collaborating with customers to drive meaningful adoption of solutions designed to manage and deliver these growing amounts of data.

Our health information exchange has grown in number of users by 111 percent, with the amount of data available in the network having grown by 118 percent in the past year.”

More than 90 health care clients currently use Medicity solutions to enable data sharing across the continuum of care, collectively impacting the lives of more than 55 million patients. Medicity delivered more than 4 million secure messages through its health information services provider (HISP), saw a 106 percent increase in the number of results delivered, and nearly doubled the number of transactions processed each year from 2 billion in 2014 to 3.6 billion in 2015.

The annual Best in KLAS report ranks health care vendors and their solutions by analyzing feedback from the health care provider professionals who use them. Medicity will be honored at the Best in KLAS Awards Ceremony during HIMSS 2016, on February 29, 2016 in Las Vegas.
