Infor experiences momentum for healthcare business unit
Infor announced significant success for its healthcare division at HIMSS 2015. Over the last eight months ending January 2015, Infor has seen over a five fold increase in its SaaS healthcare solutions bookings over the prior year eight month period. Additionally, healthcare-specific solutions such as Infor Lawson Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications, Infor Human Capital Management (HCM), Infor Cloverleaf, Infor cloud-based Health Information Exchange, and Infor Revenue Cycle Management contributed to the welcoming and expansion of relationships with more than 200 healthcare organizations over the same time period. These include Southeastern Regional Medical Center, Cape Fear Health, Bryan Health, Norton Healthcare, Lexington Health Network, and the Children’s Hospital and Medical Center of Omaha.
A contributing factor to success is the Infor UpgradeX Program, which provides organizations with a clear, simple path for upgrading or migrating to Infor Lawson 10x on Amazon Web Services (AWS), plus all the components required for the move to the cloud. Healthcare organizations gain a completely new version of their current Infor Lawson solutions along with next generation analytics, mobile and collaboration technologies to increase efficient and productive business operations.
HCM solutions specialized for healthcare that have seen tremendous growth and adoption by new and existing organizations include Core HR, Payroll, Learning Management, Talent Management, and Workforce Management. These applications help attract and retain key talent, reduce turnover costs, develop employees to improve patient outcomes, align and measure to drive organizational performance, onboard effectively to speed productivity, and support the delivery of research and evidence-based patient care and empirical outcomes.
Other applications specialized for healthcare addressing quality and safety needs include Infor Clinical Operation solutions, such as the Infor Cloverleaf Integration Suite, which provides a common platform and infrastructure that a healthcare organization can build upon to address evolving healthcare integration, data aggregation and exchange demands. In addition, the cloud-based Health Information Exchange and Clinical Business Intelligence (BI) solutions help to better manage, coordinate, share and analyze patient data to promote health system transformation, clinical efficiency and population health improvement, and Infor Revenue Cycle Management helps eliminate payment barriers across the care spectrum to reduce denials and accelerate cash collections.
“More healthcare organizations are choosing Infor as their partner because our team understands their specialized needs, and our company keeps investing in and building out our portfolio of healthcare-specific solutions,” said Mike Poling, vice president, Infor Healthcare. “From clinical interoperability and BI, to employee satisfaction and productivity and linking the supply chain to patient outcomes, we are able to offer a deep and wide set of healthcare-specific administrative, business and clinical operational solutions to meet the needs of the even the most specialized institution, to help them offer better patient care and improve their financial health.”
