Carestream Health was awarded 20 new patents in 2022 for global advances in artificial intelligence (AI), image quality, digital radiography (DR) detectors, and mobile imaging. Fifteen of the patents were awarded by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, while an additional five were received in Asian countries.

Carestream’s broad product portfolio includes 2D and 3D digital medical imaging technology for general radiology as well as specialty areas such as fluoroscopic imaging and pediatrics, along with digital laser imagers that output medical images to film. These technologies help imaging facilities worldwide provide quality care to their patients, increase efficiencies, and lower costs.
